SCVO Chief Executive, Martin Sime, recently returned from a six month study tour visiting third sector organisations around the world.  Over the six month period, he investigated differing models of the relationship between government and the sector, as well as looking at the impact of the global economic crash.

This event is the third in this year's SCVO lecture series which aims to share knowledge and best practice throughout the sector.

Martin Sime's lecture will explore the short and long-term impact of the economic crisis on the third sector around the world and reflect on the lessons to be learned by voluntary organisations - both individually and together.

Don't miss this exciting event:  Thursday 25th June at the Augustine Church Centre, George IV Bridge, Edinburgh.  Drinks reception from 5.30pm. For more details and to register, please email helen.swatton@scvo.org.uk
